Katie's shower

Katie and Zach are due next week -- their 2nd little baby (Abigail Lynne) is due on October 22 (although she will probably come before then). A little shower/get together was held at my house on Monday, October 12 and it was so much fun to get together. Katie received so many wonderful gifts -- thanks to everyone for coming and being so generous. We really MISSED my mother who wasn't feeling well and Anne and Ali. And of course, we wish Donna could have been in town. It's not the same without all of them. Won't Andrew be so happy to have a new little playmate!!!

halloween dinner

Tonight, Anne made a little surprise Halloween dinner for the kids. She put up a tent downstairs to get the kids occupied, and then proceeded to make mummy dogs (hot dogs wrapped in crescent roll dough), ketchup for blood, mashed potatoes with halloween sprinkles, and for dessert mud topped with worms (chocolate pudding topped with smashed oreos and topped with gummy worms.) Look at these happy faces!! Boo!

Fall Drive

Steve and I took off last Saturday when it was perfect weather and drove through Park City into Heber and into the mountains. The mountains are full of autumn colors and we were having this perfect drive with the sunroof open. As we were coming down the mountain, we were lucky to spy this huge moose. I ventured close to take pictures!! Steve said to me,"run like heck if he charges!" We finished the day with a little shopping at the Park City outlets.

Barnes & Noble

We had a lot of fun looking at books while we were waiting for the movie to start. The kids love to look at books. There's a lot of great Halloween books out.

2 years later and still alive -- October trip to arizona

Here I am in Arizona and it's perfect weather. The first thing we did when I landed is go to the Tempe Market Place mall and have lunch at Chipotle's. Then we had to finish up at Coldstone's for icecream. It was so great to see everyone. Next, we walked the mall, stopped at Barnes and Noble and finished with a movie that we all loved: "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs". I am so happy to be here with Anne and Tyler, Luke Ashley and Jake.
